How Much Do You Know About Politics?

I found this quiz through my following of the Blog, Wake Up America. I totally agree with the site's title... Wake Up America. Those who follow the current administration blindly are ME a few years ago. I watched only network news and considered I was informed. WRONG. I knew very little about what went on behind the scenes, and never realized I was being force-fed approved newscasts and denied the facts important to all of us. Fox news has changed my outlook and made me more aware and informed about our world and what happens each and every day. If you watch only network news, you might know how many people have been murdered in your city or area, the weather, the road conditions and see a brief skim of the political arena, but you're missing the big picture. This is OUR government, and if you don't WAKE UP AMERICA, you don't have a right to complain...nor do you have a right to judge my opinions until you have ALL the facts.

I surprised myself by scoring ten out of twelve in the quiz. I didn't know the Dow Jones average or exactly how many troops are in Afghanistan.

I surprised myself by scoring 45% above the average person...I read about these people and things all the time, daily in fact, but I don't store the names or percentages to memory....Great article, but then I'd expect no less from you....Tabs

I got a 10/12 myself...I thought we had 100,000 troops and didn't know we spent more on health care than Europe. So we definitely need more troops and for health care, if we go with the European model, which it sounds like it might, then we won't get the same health care, because the money's not there.

I would not consider myself a informed or a news junkie, but I scored 11 out of 12. Better than 93% of the population.

WARNING: I support the office of the President, not the person currently holding it!
