America, Canada , all Europe ...... needs a President like
Prime Minister Kevin Rudd - Australia.

The following isn't a "current" sentiment, but one that bears repeating in the light of the recent foiled terror attacks in our own backyard. Punishments under Sharia Law have already taken place in the United States, and we continue to look the other way, thus as they say with alcoholics, "enabling bad behavior." President Obama wants to play nice with the Muslim nations, and I'm all for peace, but war in the Middle East over religion has been going on for ages; it's not likely he can initiate a peace negotiation that's going to change that. Now we have to worry about Iran and the nut at the helm of that nation. Sometimes you have to stand up and tell it like it is, and Mr. Howard did that in his 2005 speech.

If you'd like to check the validity of Mr. Howard's speech and found the minute inaccuracies in the email version I received, I invite you to visit Snopes.

Quote:

"IMMIGRANTS, NOT AUSTRALIANS, MUST ADAPT. Take It Or Leave It. I am tired of this nation worrying about whether we are offending some individual or their culture. Since the terrorist attacks on Bali , we have experienced a surge in patriotism by the majority of Australians."

"This culture has been developed over two centuries of struggles, trials and victories by millions of men and women who have sought freedom. We speak mainly ENGLISH, not Spanish, Lebanese, Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Russian, or any other language. Therefore, if you wish to become part of our society, Learn the Language!"

"Most Australians believe in God. This is not some Christian, right wing, political push, but a fact, because Christian men and women, on Christian principles, founded this nation, and this is clearly documented. It is certainly appropriate to display it on the walls of our schools. If God offends you, then I suggest you consider another part of the world as your new home, because God is part of our culture."

"We will accept your beliefs, and will not question why. All we ask is that you accept ours, and live in harmony and peaceful enjoyment with us."

"This is OUR COUNTRY, OUR LAND, and OUR LIFESTYLE, and we will allow you every opportunity to enjoy all this. But once you are done complaining, whining, and griping about Our Flag, Our Pledge, Our Christian beliefs, or Our Way of Life, I highly encourage you take advantage of one other great Australian freedom, THE RIGHT TO LEAVE."

"If you aren't happy here then LEAVE. We didn't force you to come here. You asked to be here. So accept the country YOU accepted."

End Quote

By the way...while I was perusing Snopes.com I found these pictures taken during a protest over the use of a cartoon of their prophet,Muhammad, pictured in a Scandinavian periodical. If they get this angry over a cartoon, I think I can see how they would react so poorly to other things. I've heard many a joke about Baptists, Methodists and Catholics, but I never saw anyone toting a sign that encouraged murder because of them.

Isn't it time that we speak up? It's not enough that we build footbaths in our airports and allow them mats, Korans and assembly places in prison, must we agree with outrageous behavior that allows for a woman to be stoned or beheaded because as a rape victim she dishonors her husband?

If you agree, please pass on this link. If someone is not a radical Muslim, they shouldn't be offended by this post, rather by the behavior of those who share their belief and utilize it to do the worst. According to the Koran, if you aren't Muslim, you should be dead. Radical Muslims have infiltrated our nation and are working to make that happen. And our President apologized for US??? It's a sad day when the French President calls our leader arrogant and narcissistic.

He has narcissistic personality disorder. That's only one of his most prominent personality disorder. I loved the article on the Australian president. What a guy. I asked my husband is he wanted to move over there. I wrote this in another one of your posts, but I wasn't sure you see it that far down so I'm repeating my message:

I have started a new blog and want you to be my first follower. Here's the address: http://mckenzie-elizabeth.blogspot.com/

See ya.

I agree with you, Ginger, and Elizabeth. It's time we take our country back. I read freerepublic.com and there are MANY people out there who agree with us.

And Elizabeth, I tried to comment on your blog, but couldn't see the place to comment under the blue scribbles.

I agree with you both and thank you both for writing so eloquently on your blogs. I can't thank you enough for using your heads to see what's going on in the world. There are too many people who prefer to keep theirs in the sand...but we can see it all in front of us.

Thank you both!

WARNING: I support the office of the President, not the person currently holding it!
