What's Wrong With Us?

WE THE PEOPLE have lost our friggin' minds. We're trusting politicians to make decisions in which they have no experience or knowledge aside from being elected to office. Someone wrote to Reader's Digest, "the problem with our constitution, is it's missing the words, TERM and LIMITS. I agree. We set them for the presidency, why not for these people who have made being Senators a career?

I don't believe being an elected official was ever meant to become a life-long pursuit, complete with benefits we pay for. Congress is passing laws that are ridiculous... and expensive, but do they care? Their hand is in your wallet, not their own. And will they sacrifice their awesome health benefits for a government run one? I think not.

I watched an interview with Chris Dodd about his prostate cancer. Sorry, Mr. Dodd, but you're just one of many unfortunate men to suffer this disease. What makes you more newsworthy than the rest. It's sort of like how the government considered the auto industry was more important to save than the thousands of other failing businesses in America. Even though I garnered sympathy for his plight, the man has lied to the public as much as he's told the truth. If he wasn't tied to the government, he probably would have been ridden out of town on a rail. Maybe we should consider returning to tarring and feathering people.

I've written to my senators, but alas, I feel it's much like spitting in the wind. Once these people are elected, unless we stand united and scream our protests, we'll not be heard. The Tea Parties did little to change things. People are too afraid of the repercussions of letting their feelings be known. Who wouldn't after those who participated with lumped in with terrorists by the Department of Homeland Security. Funny...Homeland...Security...those two words are sort of an oxymoron.

I fear for tomorrow. We have a president who is more concerned with pushing unread bills through Congress to pass them than worrying over how many of the American people wonder where their next meal is coming from...their next paycheck. I'm happy to know the "Cash for Clunkers" project has been such a success. Congress has approved dumping more money into it because of the huge response. It will be interesting in a few months to view the repo stats. Think they'll share them with us. I doubt it. We only hear the sunny side of everything unless we tune into non-network newscasts.

As one person, I can't do anything more than voice my concerns here, but if Congress has their way, pretty soon, this will be against the law...viewed as cyber bullying. So...I guess I'll get my licks in while I can. Check some of the links in my sidebar. See what's really going on in the world. You might be surprised.

The Perfect Solution to Senior Health Care

I received this via email today, and just had to share it. It's a little far-fetched, but then so are the proposals being made about health care reform.

While discussing the upcoming Universal Health Care Program with my sister-in-law the other day, I think we have found the solution. I am sure you have heard the ideas that if you ’re a senior you need to suck it up and give up the idea that you need any health care. A new hip? Unheard of. We simply can't afford to take care of you anymore. You don't need any medications for your high blood pressure, diabetes, heart problems, etc. Let’s take care of the young people. After all, they will be ruling the world very soon.

So here is the solution. When you turn 70, you get a gun and 4 bullets. You are allowed to shoot 2 senators and 2 representatives. Of course, you will be sent
to prison where you will get 3 meals a day, a roof over your head and all the health care you need! Need teeth, great! Need glasses, no problem. Need hip, knee, kidney, lung, heart? Well bring it on. And who will be paying for all of this. The same government that just told you that you are too old for health care. And, since you are a prisoner, you don't have to pay any income tax.

Yep, I really think we have found a Perfect Solution!

Make Informed Decisions!

I'm cross posting portions of a blog I found at Infidel Bloggers Alliance. I cannot verify the validity of the poster, but I did check into Peter Fleckenstein as I'd never heard of him. His Twitter profile lists him as a former marine, father of two and his website is "coming soon." I have cross referenced Mr. F's remarks with portions of the actual Health Care Bill I found listed at The Huffington Post.

Mr. Fleckenstein, it appears, is lashing out via twitter, asserting his unhappiness with the present administration with regard to Health Care Reform. I read his post with interest, but then went directly to portions of the bill posted on the internet to see if the comments contained in his post are truly factual OR based on what he fears may happen. I'm posting this so you can determine for yourself what you feel comfortable with or uneasy about with regard to the the language used in the Health Care Reform Bill.

As I've said before, I'm all for making improvements in our Health Care policies, but I don't believe rushing headlong into President Obama's Health Care reform bill is the answer. I believe the reason he likes to "push" bills through Congress is that it gives the members little or no time to read the voluminous legal documents and/or raise legitimate questions that need answers.

This is a very touchy topic, but I believe if people do their homework, they won't be as eager for this bills passage. I've been in the dark long enough, supposing that because I watched the evening news, I was AWARE.I urge you...watch Fox News...something other than the network broadcasts and become aware of what goes on behind your backs. You'll be appalled. If something sounds too good to be true, it usually is, and like the previous nightmare bill packed with special interest projects and needless spending, this bill may do more harm than good. Shouldn't we, "the people" as recognized in our Constitution have some say in what happens with our healthcare?

PLEASE BE ADVISED THE ITALICIZED REMARKS BELONG SOLELY TO PETER FLECKENSTEIN, WHOEVER HE IS.

Peter Fleckenstein is reading through the entire 1100+ page socialized medicine scheme of the New Deathocrats.

Mr. Fleckenstein continues on and on, and you can read his entire post by clicking the link in the first paragraph. I've attempted to show you that if you don't do your own homework and make your own judgement, you might be swayed by someone else's interpretation. Mr. F and I tend to agree that passing this law is a mistake, but his comments contained insinuations I didn't see actually stated in the bill itself. Like the Bible and the many religions based on it, it's apparent we can read into something what WE perceive from the wording. He may be right on. I don't know, but I'm fearful enough to believe he make have made some valid points.

Even reporters who attended the President's "reform" speech stated he skirted important questions and kept returning to his push that this happen now (before Congress breaks for holiday) for the good of America. If it's such an emergency, don't you think Congress could put their holiday on hold?

President Obama indicated twice during his speech this would not increase the national debt, but a prominent member of the Way and Means Committee indicated a several TRILLION dollar increase over the next decade. Who do you believe? Our government is so divided by party lines, with finger pointing, name calling, and negative assertions...is this really a time for them to be making decisions that ultimately affect us and our future?

Where did they get my address?

In all fairness, I have to share this with you, so that you can tune in tonight and listen to President O's Healthcare pitch. I'm not an authority, so what I've expressed are my opinions based on recent headlong dives into fixes that did nothing more than create bigger problems. Be your own judge.

Dear Friend,

As you read this, we are closer than ever to passing comprehensive health insurance reform that benefits American families and small businesses. Despite all the back and forth in the news right now, it is important to understand just how far we've come in this challenging process.

That's why I'm holding a press conference tonight at 8pm ET, and writing to let everyone know where we are, what's ahead, and why health insurance reform is so important.

Let me be clear: although Congress is still debating parts of the legislation we have achieved critical consensus on several key areas:

If you already have health insurance: reform will provide you with more security and stability. It will limit your own out of pocket costs and prevent your insurance company from dropping your coverage if you get too sick. You'll also have affordable insurance options if you lose or change your job. And it will cover preventive care like check-ups and mammograms that save lives and money.

If you don't have health insurance: you will finally have guaranteed access to quality, affordable health care, and you can choose the plan that best suits your family's needs. And no insurance company will be allowed to deny you coverage because of a pre-existing medical condition.

Now, I realize that the last few miles of any race are the hardest to run, but we can't stop now. There's no dispute about it: we cannot control our long-term fiscal health as a nation without health insurance reform. American families and small businesses understand that the health insurance status quo is taking away those things that they value most about health care. The stability and security that comes with knowing that you can get the treatment you need, when you need it. Without reform, we are consigning our children to a future of skyrocketing premiums and crushing deficits.

We have to seize this opportunity and pass health insurance reform this year. You can help by forwarding this email to your family and friends and letting them know what's at stake in this debate.

Thank you,
Barack Obama

P.S. Tune in to tonight's press conference on health insurance reform at 8pm ET on WhiteHouse.gov.

Obama Snubbed in Russia

How sad. Our President is so self assured that he can sway the world like he sways his own citizens. Didn't see the news showing this clip did you? Doesn't that prove that our media is biased and shows us only what they think we need to see.

This video reminds me of Obama's promise for transparency...where is it? It's certainly not in sneaking bills into Congress in the middle of the night and pressuring lawmakers to sign by a certain date. What's the rush, Barry? Shouldn't these things be discussed, debated, and more importantly shared with the public...the people your new changes affect the most?

I'm all for helping families with no healthcare, but I highly doubt that the Government is capable of handling health issues for the nation. Look at the mess they've made of Medicare, Medicaid and the Veteran's Administration. Isn't that proof that they don't have the time, oversight or KNOWLEDGE to involve themselves in business? Yes, these were government operated agencies long before President Obama took office, but still proof that the government has no place in healthcare. By his admission, Medicare is bleeding the government dry. Why...where is the oversight? Expertise? Let's slow down and come up with a plan that really works for everyone.

Sure, the President's speech on healthcare reform sounds compelling, but I for one, don't want my medical needs administered by Congress. Those are the people who will decide the rules governing medical care, and government employees, not necessarily ones with credentials...as evidenced by the Czar appointments, will determine if your condition warrants emergency treatment. Ask people from other countries who utilize Government-run healthcare. I did, and here are a few snippets from their emails back to me:

CANADA: The health care system here has declined a lot from its peak in the 1970s - we now have long waiting lists for necessary procedures. IMO this is because the New Democratic Party which brought in the health care system in 1962 has been periodically replaced by other parties (the Liberals, the Conservatives, and then the Saskatchewan Party, a somewhat revamped version of the Conservatives), who never really favored this system in the first place, and would like to replace it with a U.S.-style pay-as-you-go system.

Also, things have altered a great deal since I was young. Nurses don't do the 'scut work' any more.

England: They don't make beds, or serve meals or bring round cups of tea in the afternoons - that's now done by immigrant workers who don't speak English, so don't bother talking to them, or clutch your chest if you are having a myocardial infarction as they’ll simply wheel the trolley straight over you and keep serving the tea.

5.30 pm. Forget it. The nurses' stations are empty and you won't see another one until the

morning - and as for doctors - blink and you miss them and then it's. 'He'll be in on Tuesday' So much for them being overworked and whatever happens if there's an emergency in the night? I presume someone will react but it's hardly reassuring.

Some anti-cancer drugs have been deemed 'too expensive' to prescribe so cancer patients are being refused, but the other side of this is those patients won't benefit from the drugs anyway as their conditon is too advanced, or the wrong type - but people love to jump on the 'I'm not worth the expense and I've been paying national insurance all my life,' bandwagon.

Australia - We have a choice, sorta. We have Medicare, which is govt run. The levy is compulsory. We also can choose to have private health insurance. However, we still have to pay the compulsory levy for Medicare. Also, these days anyone deemed rich enough to afford private insurance but who chooses not to take it out gets hit with an extra levy.

Another from Australia: Every wage earner has to pay a levy, I think it is up to 2% of your wages now, but it entitles people on welfare to get free medical treatment at doctors and public hospitals. Some doctors will also "bulk bill" their patients for a consultation, that means Medicare will cover the whole visit, even if you work, but most doctors claim against medicare and the patient just pays the difference between the Medicare rebate and what the doctor charges, that is unless you are on welfare as mentioned above, then you get it for free. Pharmaceuticals (prescription medicines prescribed by doctors) are also subsidized by the government. People on welfare get any prescription filled out by the chemist for a couple of dollars, everyone else pays, but not the full price.
Veterans and War widows, are also eligible for Medicare but they often receive other benefits such as free medicine, free hospitalization and a range of other benefits not given to ordinary people on welfare, from the Veteran Affairs department. In Australia if you are over 65 you are eligible for a means tested "old age pension" or if you are disabled an "invalid pension." Many people, including hubby and I will most likely receive a part age pension, which will be topped up by our private pension fund (superannuation), which we of course have paid for out of our wages since we started work.

I'm sure there are positive as well as the negative, but I wanted to make you think about losing your right to choose. President Obama claims we can keep our healthcare benefits to which we currently subscribe, but what employer is going to offer them if given the choice to subscribe to government paid? And where will we get the money? Isn't our national debt high enough?

I'd like to close this post with one comment from a friend who ended her email to me with this statement:

My only complaint about the health care system here is that it needs more government funding to keep it going.

Our country is in dire straights with the highest unemployment rate in decades, a national debt higher than it's ever been, and do we really believe we need to rush healthcare reform through before August 1 when Congress takes a break? I don't think so.

What Can the Government Run?

Later this week, I hope to be able to share some information with you from friends abroad who deal with health care run by the government. But in the meantime, I have to ask...given the fact that medicare has become such a financial burden on the government, and they were directly in charge of overseeing those programs, what makes Obama think the government can manage health care for the entire nation?

As I see it, their track record stinks, and I'm reluctant to put my fate in the hands of people who lack the skills and expertise. Who in government is trained in Healthcare?

President Obama promised jobs but it seems the only ones created thus far are for people who are versed in positions related to bettering the infrastructure: highway equipment operators, buildings, flaggers, etc. We're going to have lots of new roads and bridges to empty businesses.

Oh, let's not forget the ridiculous Czar positions he created and filled without any input from anyone else. Funny how the car czar has no experience in the automotive industry, and I'm pretty sure the credentials of the others are equally as lacking. Why do we need people to oversee organizations within the government who already have people appointed to do that? Seems rather redundant and wasteful to me.

So far the $787 Billion dollar stimulus has done little to help, and we're being encouraged by Obama's spokespeople to be patient. I have a good idea, and I wonder why it wouldn't have worked better than bailing out the bigger industries. Why not send a sizable check to every household. Allow the American public to stimulate the economy by paying their bills, catching up on their mortgages, enjoying an evening out for dinner, movie or family recreation. Wouldn't that have done far more to put money back into circulation? I know I could have put some of it to good use, especially now that my husband is one of the 9 1/2% unemployed across the nation.

I watched this morning as a member of the GOP talked about how signing the stimulus was supposed to offset the growth of unemployment, but instead of a decline, the numbers have risen. How much longer can the nation support those without jobs before that money runs dry? Several states have already had to start borrowing from the feds to pay the benefits. Kentucky, for example has an 11% unemployment rate. Can they carry the burden for much longer?

President Obama is preparing for ANOTHER publicized TV appearance to appeal to the American people to support his healthcare reform. I'm happy with my healthcare, so why would I want reform? Why not hire doctors to operate free clinics to serve those who have no healthcare? Wouldn't that be a better option than forcing something else down our throats? When Obama promised change, did any of us expect he would want to have everything his way?

Amazing Video

Yes, I questioned the recent money spent to launch yet another vehicle into space...thinking it might be better spent helping the millions whose unemployment has lapsed or to create the jobs President Obama has promised, but I suppose that's human nature. My thoughts..."We can't afford to support this planet...or even get along with one another...why are we going elsewhere?" Of course, there a thousands of answers but they don't come to the mind of someone struggling to survive this troubled economy and divided government.

I can't deny, though, that I find this video amazing, and I guess without space exploration, we wouldn't have this knowledge...but then I had to stop and wonder why I care to know. Does it help me in anyway? There has to be a reason someone cares.

Although the comparisons are quite captivating, I really didn't get the value until the last phrase. I believe someone needs to send it to our President, who seems to think he is.... (Thanks to the creator 'morn1415' - where I found this on youtube.)

They Ignore US

As one individual, I have no idea what I can do that will stop the madness going on in congress. I've written to my Senators, and I blog to try to raise awareness. I'm appalled at how many people blindly follow this President and his administration and don't question what's going on. A friend forwarded this link to me, and I'm sharing it here. I urge you to listen to the entire video and LEARN. What you'll hear is frighteningly true. Bob Basso author of "Common Sense" plays the role of Thomas Paine to ignite the fire of change in America in this video. (Text taken from Youtube site.)

The Tax Poem

I had to share this. My mother-in-law sent it via email, and it is so true. Scary but true. Even in death, you aren't exempt. Be sure to read all the way to the end.

The Tax Poem

Tax his land,

Tax his bed,

Tax the table

At which he's fed.

Tax his tractor,

Tax his mule,

Teach him taxes

Are the rule.

Tax his work,

Tax his pay,

He works for peanuts

Anyway!

Tax his cow,

Tax his goat,

Tax his pants,

Tax his coat.

Tax his ties,

Tax his shirt,

Tax his work,

Tax his dirt.

Tax his tobacco,

Tax his drink,

Tax him if he

Tries to think.

Tax his cigars,

Tax his beers,

If he cries

Tax his tears.

Tax his car,

Tax his gas,

Find other ways

To tax his a**.

Tax all he has

Then let him know

That you won't be done

Till he has no dough.

When he screams and hollers,

Then tax him some more,

Tax him till

He's good and sore.

Then tax his coffin,

Tax his grave,

Tax the sod in

Which he's laid.

Put these words

Upon his tomb,

"Taxes drove me to my doom..."

When he's gone,

Do not relax,

It's time to apply

The inheritance tax.

Time to Take a Stand

You already know I only watch Fox news because ABC, CBS and NBC report only what they feel we need to know, not what we deserve to know. Yesterday on Glen Beck, I listened as Judge Napolitano discussed the bill Congress is considering to regulate cyber-bullying, an act instigated by the recent death of Megan Meier, a teenage girl who committed suicide after her online boyfriend broke up with her and told her that the world would be better off without her. The ‘boyfriend’ was actually a teen girl’s mother in the neighborhood. Cited from actual report)

While I see merit in punishing the idiot adult who drove a young woman to kill herself, this bill is a violation of our first amendment rights as granted by the Constitution. "Congress shall make no law prohibiting the free exercise thereof, or abridging the freedom of speech".

This is but another example of how the current administration is determined to have a say in every aspect of our lives. The term "private citizen" will no longer apply as anything we post, email, or tweet will become subject to government interpretation. Your expressed opinion may fall under guidelines determined as cyber bullying and make you subject to prosecution. Trust me...this isn't a joke.

Years ago, I watched a movie called, Big Brother. I know you've heard the term, "big brother is watching." More and more, we are headed in the direction of the film made so long ago. There may eventually come a time when everything we do, say or think is scrutinized by the very people we elected to represent US! Again, I urge you...when you vote and see the word, "incumbent," vote for new blood. It's time to clean house because our current Congress has forgotten who they work for. It's time to stop them from bullying us.

I've always considered that writing to my Congressman or Senator was a waste of time, but I recently wrote to Senator Bob Corker, U.S. Senator for Tennessee about my concerns about Cap and Trade. I received a very nice letter in response, thanking me for contacting him. I truly felt it wasn't a form letter, but even if it was written by his secretary, it was a nice touch. I think I'll send him to a link to this blog. In case you haven't noticed, I've felt quite comfortable with my First Amendment rights and clearly expressed negative opinions about the current administration. I'd really hate to go to jail simply because someone didn't see eye-to-eye with me.

I Guess I'm a Thread-Jacker

And I didn't even know it.

If you use Facebook, then you are familiar with the tons of posts added everyday. If you have many friends, then it is hard to keep up with the games, roses, kisses, quizzes, etc, that everyone passes on. I try to avoid those because of time constraints, but sometimes find myself caught up in the moment.

One thing I've always considered, and obviously I was wrong, is that if someone is your friend on any of these promotional and chatting sites, it should be okay if you mention your own blog in a comment. For example: yesterday I noticed a thread started by my son's friend, someone I've chatted with frequently, but never met, and I should have just kept reading, but...

The conversation had turned a bit political and people were slamming one guy who had posted his opinion. I commented ONLY that I sort of agreed with him, then said if anyone would like to see a professional's viewpoint of our prez, they were invited to visit my blog at........

This was the response I got back:

"Ginger, please stop spamming my site with your threadjacks to promote your own blog. It's rude and annoying. Also, you are completely full of shit and your argument is full-on retarded."

To say I was stunned is an understatement. I never considered myself a spammer, and told him so, but in a private email:

I honestly was blind-sided by your mean-spirited comment on your blog. I said nothing except what I feel about the situation and invited only those interested to visit my blog. Never considered you would think of me as a spammer. I would much more have appreciated a personal and private email to discuss it, rather than being humiliated by being publicly told I'm "full of shit and retarded" by someone I considered a friend. guess I was totally wrong on that one. Not cool, and I would never have done that you. Nice touch on the fourth of July when freedoms are being celebrated...evidently not in your case.

His response, again publicly, was:

"Oh, horseshit.

This isn't about honesty, it's about opinion... and I have no problem with your opinion, Ginger, even if I think it's retarded and you're full of shit... it's the threadjacking that's rude and annoying -- and yes, by definition, when you come on someone else's site and try to get people to come to yours by posting links to your blog, that's spamming.

He then responded that I'm taking the internet far too seriously??? AND I needed to take a chill pill? Sure, everyone likes being told their full of shit and retarded, right?

I made two more attempts before I got frustrated and removed him as a friend and blocked further messages. I have better ways to spend my time...all this over one comment probably five lines long and not very in-depth. Who needs a chill pill?

So, I guess the point of this post is be careful where you invite people to visit you. Some folks EVIDENTLY take great offense. I guess the days of giving people the benefit of the doubt or letting them know your feelings in private are passed. Great...like we didn't have enough stress in our lives already. Of course, I consider that this fellow probably suffers from "little man" syndrome and using the Internet allows him to walk tall, talk tough and carry a big stick. So sad. boy, you think you know someone!! *lol*

A PSYCOLOGIST LOOKS AT OBAMA

Can you recall ever seeing another US president so involved with the media: making so many appearances, presenting scripted messages, and plunging headlong into so many projects without a plan? I can't, and I really wonder about the personality type of the person elected to the highest post in the nation.

I found this article on another author's website and was intrigued by the comparisons made and professional observations expressed. I admire Stephen Clark Bradley for being candid in his opinions, and being brave enough to express them. I guess if I was a 'hip' young person, I'd say, "You go, boy."

Although I would love to concentrate only on my own writing and my desire to achieve mainstream publishing someday, I fear the future is growing bleaker by the moment, and I may not have that opportunity. It's time for people to take their heads out of the sand and pay attention to the facts. Start with the observations made by Dr. Sam Vaknin.

Dr.Vaknin is an Israeli psychologist who has written extensively about narcissism.

Dr. Vaknin states "I must confess I was impressed by Sen.Barack Obama from the first time I saw him. At first I was excited to see a black candidate. He looked youthful, spoke well, appeared to be confident - a wholesome presidential package. I was put off soon, not just because of his shallowness but also because there was an air of haughtiness in his demeanor that was unsettling.

His posture and his body language were louder than his empty words. Obama's speeches are unlike any political speech we have heard in American history. Never a politician in this land had such quasi "religious" impact on so many people. The fact that Obama is a total incognito with zero accomplishment, makes this inexplicable infatuation alarming. Obama is not an ordinary man. He is not a genius. In fact he is quite ignorant on most important subjects."

Barack Obama is a narcissist.

Dr. Sam Vaknin, the author of the Malignant Self Love believes "Barack Obama appears to be a narcissist." Vaknin is a world authority on narcissism. He understands narcissism and describes the inner mind of a narcissist like no other person. When he talks about narcissism everyone listens. Vaknin says that Obama's language, posture and demeanor, and the testimonies of his closest, dearest and nearest suggest that the Senator is either a narcissist or he may have narcissistic personality disorder (NPD). Narcissists project a grandiose but false image of themselves. Jim Jones, the charismatic leader of People's Temple, the man who led over 900 of his followers to cheerfully commit mass suicide and even murder their own children was also a narcissist. David Koresh, Charles Manson, Joseph Koni, Shoko Asahara, Stalin, Saddam, Mao,Kim Jong Ill and Adolph Hitler are a few examples of narcissists of our time. All these men had a tremendous influence over their fanciers. They created a personality cult around themselves and with their blazing speeches elevated their admirers, filled their hearts with enthusiasm and instilled in their minds a new zest for life. They gave them hope! They promised them the moon, but alas, invariably they brought them to their doom. When you are a victim of a cult of personality, you don't know it until it is too late. One determining factor in the development of NPD is childhood abuse.

"Obama's early life was decidedly chaotic and replete with traumatic and mentally bruising dislocations," says Vaknin. "Mixed-race marriages were even less common then. His parents went through a divorce when he was an infant (two years old). Obama saw his father only once again, before he died in a car accident. Then his mother re-married and Obama had to relocate to Indonesia , a foreign land with a radically foreign culture, to be raised by a step-father. At the age of ten, he was whisked off to live with his maternal (white)grandparents. He saw his mother only intermittently in the following few years and then she vanished from his life in 1979. She died of cancer in 1995".

One must never underestimate the manipulative genius of pathological narcissists. They project such an imposing personality that it overwhelms those around them. Charmed by the charisma of the narcissist, people become like clay in his hands. They cheerfully do his bidding and delight to be at his service. The narcissist shapes the world around himself and reduces others in his own inverted image. He creates a cult of personality. His admirers become his co-dependents Narcissists have no interest in things that do not help them to reach their personal objective. They are focused on one thing alone and that is power. All other issues are meaningless to them and they do not want to waste their precious time on trivialities. Anything that does not help them is beneath them and do not deserve their attention.

If an issue raised in the Senate does not help Obama in one way or another, he has no interest in it. The "present" vote is a safe vote. No one can criticize him if things go wrong. Those issues are unworthy by their very nature because they are not about him. Obama's election as the first black president of the Harvard Law Review led to a contract and advance to write a book about race relations.

The University of Chicago Law School provided him a lot longer than expected and at the end it evolved into, guess what? His own autobiography! Instead of writing a scholarly paper focusing on race relations, for which he had been paid, Obama could not resist writing about his most sublime self. He entitled the book Dreams from My Father.

Not surprisingly, Adolph Hitler also wrote his own autobiography when he was still nobody. So did Stalin. For a narcissist no subject is as important as his own self. Why would he waste his precious time and genius writing about insignificant things when he can write about such an august being as himself? Narcissists are often callous and even ruthless. As the norm, they lack conscience. This is evident from Obama's lack of interest in his own brother who lives on only one dollar per month.

A man who lives in luxury, who takes a private jet to vacation in Hawaii, and who has raised nearly half a billion dollars for his campaign (something unprecedented in history) has no interest in the plight of his own brother. Why? Because, his brother cannot be used for his ascent to power.

A narcissist cares for no one but himself. This election is like no other in the history of America . The issues are insignificant compared to what is at stake. What can be more dangerous than having a man bereft of conscience, a serial liar, and one who cannot distinguish his fantasies from reality as the leader of the free world? I hate to sound alarmist, but one is a fool if one is not alarmed. Many politicians are narcissists. They pose no threat to others...They are simply self serving and selfish.

Obama evidences symptoms of pathological narcissism, which is different from the run-of-the-mill narcissism of a Richard Nixon or a Bill Clinton for example. To him reality and fantasy are intertwined. This is a mental health issue, not just a character flaw. Pathological narcissists are dangerous because they look normal and even intelligent. It is this disguise that makes them treacherous.

Today the Democrats have placed all their hopes in Obama. But this man could put an end to their party. The great majority of blacks have also decided to vote for Obama. Only a fool does not know that their support for him is racially driven. This is racism, pure and simple. The downside of this is that if Obama turns out to be the disaster I predict, he will cause widespread resentment among the whites.

The blacks are unlikely to give up their support of their man. Cultic mentality is pernicious and unrelenting. They will dig their heads deeper in the sand and blame Obama's detractors of racism. This will cause a backlash among the whites.

The white supremacists will take advantage of the discontent and they will receive widespread support. I predict that in less than four years, racial tensions will increase to levels never seen since the turbulent 1960's.

Obama will set the clock back decades... America is the bastion of freedom. The peace of the world depends on the strength of America , and its weakness translates into the triumph of terrorism and victory of rogue nations.

It is no wonder that Ahmadinejad, Hugo Chavez, the Castrists, the Hezbollah, the Hamas, the lawyers of the Guantanamo terrorists and virtually all sworn enemies of America are so thrilled by the prospect of their man in the White House. America is on the verge of destruction. There is no insanity greater than electing a pathological narcissist as president.

WARNING: I support the office of the President, not the person currently holding it!
